Below are answers to a few questions you might have about us and your first visit. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you have any additional questions.
Q: What should I bring to my first visit?
A: Please bring your completed Health History form, which is available online for your convenience. If you are unable to print the form, contact us and we will mail the form to you. In addition, please bring any relevant labs or medical records that you have.
Q: What should I wear?
A: If possible, wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothes.
Q: How long will the initial visit take?
A: Your initial visit will take quite a bit longer than subsequent visits. Making a correct diagnosis and laying out a successful treatment plan requires a detailed health history and understanding of your current state of health. Please leave at least two hours for the initial visit.
Q: Is it ok to eat or drink before my acupuncture treatment?
A: Yes. In fact, it is a good idea to eat a light snack before your treatment.
Q: What type of payment do you accept?
A: We accept cash, check and Visa and MasterCard.
Q: Do you accept insurance?
A: Yes. Please check with your insurance company to see if acupuncture is covered and if there are any exceptions or limitations. Co-pay is due at the time of service. If you have questions about a particular insurance company, please contact us.
Q: Can acupuncture and herbal medicine help me?
A: If you are interested in trying acupuncture and herbal medicine, but are unsure if it is right for you, contact us for a consultation at no charge. We will be happy to evaluate your individual situation and discuss possible treatment options.
